Controversial proposal to change state hunting laws

Lawmakers are debating a controversial measure about hunting in Georgia. The proposed bill would allow hunters to lure animals to a killing ground by putting bait into a feeder. Supporters say so-called baiting makes it easier for hunters to rack up deer kills. Opponents say baiting borders on blasphemy, and transforms hunting from a skill to just a kill. So far this legislative session the measure hasn't reached a vote and opponents say they're confident it's been thwarted this year.
