Georgia’s 17-year-old water war with Florida and Alabama is going before a new judge. The federal judge in Florida has experience with state water disputes, having handled a case in Minnesota over the Missouri River. Georgia, Florida and Alabama are fighting over how to share water from the Chattahoochee River, which is Atlanta’s main water source.
