The Atlanta Falcons have officially lost 'defensive end' Patrick Kerney. He has signed a 6-year contract worth 39 million dollars to join the Seattle Seahawks. Kerney leaves as third on Atlanta's all-time sacks list, with 58 for his career.
The Falcons also released 'offensive lineman' Matt Lehr.
The Georgia Bulldogs have opened up spring football practice in Athens. Matthew Stafford is locked-in as starting quarterback for the 2007 season in the fall.
