The Braves fell just shy of a complete comeback in their game at Florida last night, falling to the Marlins 8-7 in the opener of the series in Miami.
In the 9th inning, Chipper Jones knocked a solo home run, and Jeff Francouer added an RBI-double. However, Brian McCann struck out with a runner on base to end it.
Francouer went 4-for-5 with 4 RBI's.
The Braves face the Marlins again tonight.
