Genarlow Wilson’s lawyers are fighting a judge’s ruling this week denying Wilson bond. They filed a notice of appeal today. Wilson is serving 10 years for having consensual oral sex with a 15-year-old when he was 17. Last week a judge ruled that the punishment was too harsh for the crime and set a bond hearing, but this week another judge ruled Wilson isn’t eligible for bond. The Georgia Supreme Court is scheduled to hear his appeal this fall.
