The Fulton County District Attorney Has ordered the release of four prisoners held on drug- related charges. One of the four, Mingus Williams, was released from jail today. Williams was arrested by the same narcotics officers implicated in the 2006 shooting death of 92-year old Kathryn Johnston, following a botched drug raid at her Atlanta home. Officers Greg Junnier and Joseph Smith admitted in federal court they lied and planted drugs so they could close cases. Since then, the D.A. has reviewed all cases involving Junnier and Smith. Three other defendents, set to be released next week, had their sentences commuted to time served.
