Governor Sonny Perude today begins his two-week trip to Europe on an economic development and diplomatic mission. Perdue will visit six countries, including the Republic of Ireland, the United Kingdom, France, the Czech Republic, Germany, and Belguim. The trip is meant to focus on several areas, such as aerospace, automotive and life sciences. Perdue's delegation includes Lieutenant Governor Casey Cagle, State Senator Eric Johnson, as well as business and economic officials.
