Governor Sonny Perdue and his delegation have wrapped up the first of two weeks in his economic development and diplomatic mission across Europe. Over the weekend, Perdue and the delegation paid visit to Omaha Beach in Normandy-France, the site of the D-Day assault. Before that visit, the Governor had three business meetings with French companies considering ties to Georgia. Perdue met with a French life science company, an information technology firm, and an aerospace company.
