There’s another negative result of one of the worst drought’s in Georgia history … it means more kudzu. The Henry Daily Herald spoke with a University of Georgia specialist, who says kudzu is thriving in places where grass and plants aren’t. Experts say homeowners putting in new lawns should consider planting grass that doesn’t need a lot of water. Nearly every Georgia county is under severe or extreme drought and the state is under watering restrictions.
