$2 M for driver's education

More than 2-million dollars are coming to Georgia’s libraries and public high schools to teach driver’s education. The Governor’s Office of Highway Safety is doling out the money to schools and libraries that applied. Funds will go toward improving driver’s ed courses in schools and adding computer consoles with virtual driving programs to libraries. The grants are geared especially toward teaching high school students who want to prepare for their first license.
