A Fort Bliss soldier from Georgia has been killed in Iraq. The Department of Defense says 25-year-old Benjamin B. Bartlett Junior of Manchester died Sunday in Mosul. He was killed in a rocket propelled grenade attack. He was posthumously awarded the Bronze Star and the Purple Heart and promoted from private to specialist.
