A Macon woman is charged with leaving her 5-month-old baby in her car for seven hours, leading to the child's death. Police say 20-year-old Holly Hammonds arrived at work in Macon around 11:30 yesterday morning. She allegedly left baby Taryn in the car until about 6:30 last night when someone scheduled to pick the baby up from daycare called to say the baby wasn’t there. Police say Hammonds ran to her car but the baby was dead.
