The late representative Charles Norwood's campaign spent more than 63-thousand dollars for an event at the Ritz Carlton golf resort on Lake Oconee two months after he died. That's the same weekend, Jim Whitehead – the candidate endorsed by Norwood's family, held a fundraiser at the same hotel.
