The Georgia State Emergency Board wants a federal disaster declaration for all Georgia counties. The Board says extreme drought conditions are taking a bad toll on all 159 Georgia counties. Georgia farmers are also facing tough times after an Easter freeze. The disaster declaration would allow producers to get low-interest emergency loans immediately.
