A southwest Georgia church is $850,000 richer thanks to DVD sales of its amateur movie. Sherwood Baptist Church in Albany made the inspirational film “Facing the Giants.” The movie focuses on a chronically losing high-school football team and its coach who turns to God to resolve his and the team’s problems. The church’s pastor says the money will go toward paying off debt and building a sports complex.
