Dr. Mark and Kelly Malone
Kelly Malone is probably happy that her husband Mark is an OB-GYN, considering that the Columbus native gave birth to quadruplets in a Phoenix hospital on Monday.
Mark, who only watched this Cesarean-section birthing, instead of assisting in bringing them into the world, said reflectively:
A specialist in high-order multiples led the birthing team at Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center. Malone notes that the four are in good shape, going by weight and APGAR scores."God is good all the time...
"Now, I have a basketball team."
The couple have a three-year-old son who was also born by C-section. Writing in their personal blog, Malone quipped about his wife's reaction:
I told her this reminded me of those mission control countdowns at NASA and she very quickly replied, "I'm not going into space with you anymore!!"
