The former head of Home Depot is taking-over as head of the nation's number three automaker, Chrysler.
Bob Nardelli had served as chief executive of Atlanta-based Home Depot from 2000 until this past January, when he abruptly resigned amid criticism over his pay and the company's sagging share price. At Chrysler, Nardelli will serve as chairman and CEO. Reports say his salary will be determined solely on the success he has in getting the automaker back to financial health.
