Mourners gathered in Atlanta today to remember Richard Jewell, the former security guard falsely accused of a deadly bombing during the 1996 Olympic Summer Games in Atlanta. Jewell was found dead in his Meriwether County home on Wednesday. An autopsy showed Jewell suffered a heart attack. Eventually cleared of the bombing at Centennial Park, Jewell lived with the stigma of accuations. Richard Jewell was 44-years old.
