Former Georgia Senator Max Cleland has suspended his chief of staff after the man was accused of crashing a John Edwards fundraiser on Martha's Vineyard and breaking into a nearby Coast Guard station. Police say Michael Duga was dropped off Friday at a fundraiser for Edwards. Duga allegedly told a police officer that he was working with Edwards' campaign. The next morning, the Coast Guard says Duga entered a Coast Guard station without their permission. Cleland, a Democrat from Georgia, said today that he put Duga on unpaid leave yesterday.
