A Georgia law limiting protests within 500 feet of a funeral is under fire. Lawyers for two Georgia activists say the 2006 law limits freedom of speech. The protesters say their displays are not aimed at the funerals but at other nearby interests. Georgia’s law is one of 38 around the country passed in response to protests at funerals for soldiers killed in Iraq.
