Gwinnett Co. Standoff Ends With Suspect Dead

Police say a standoff in which two Gwinnett County police officers were shot while serving an arrest warrant has ended with the death of the suspect.

Gwinnett County Police spokeswoman Illana Spellman identifies the man who had been holed up inside a house since 8 p.m. yesterday as William Shable Caram. She says authorities are unsure how the man died.

Police said the man was found dead before 11 a.m. today.
