A little over an hour ago Leaders from the Senate brought negotiations of car tax reform to the table during a discussion with the House on whether or not Georgians will be receiving a cut in taxes this year.
But in a meeting just minuets ago, Senate Leaders brought a different story. Leaders from the Senate reneged their offer on orders from Lieutenant Governor Casey Cagle. And, still no tax reform is in sight.
"We have an hour and a half to get this thing signed and printed, there is no physical way we can do it after that," said Richardson (R.)
Leaders from the House say they are at their wits end and continually claim the Lieutenant Governor is the only thing standing in the way of tax reform in Georgia. No comment from the Leuitenet Governor has been made available at this time.
