Zebra rescued on GA highway

A baby zebra was found injured on Interstate 75 south of Atlanta yesterday.

Rescuers believe the 2-3 month old male fell from a truck and was hit by another vehicle. They got the call that it was eating grass along an exit.

A veterinarian says surgery was needed for injuries including a crushed pelvis and nerve damage. The Noah’s Ark rescue group seeks donations to cover the $5000 cost of care for the zebra.
