The Professional Association of Georgia Educators named Allen Page, a senior at Brookstone School in Columbus, the state's top student in 2008. In turn, Page named Dale Epperson, his chemistry teacher, as his STAR teacher. The group of educators has administered Georgia's STAR student and teacher awards since 1958.
