Delta Air Lines is cutting at least 1,000 more jobs than it previously planned. The Atlanta-based carrier says it's because more than 3,000 people took voluntary severance offers. Delta offered the packages to roughly 30,000 employees to cut costs. Delta says it will accept all of the volunteers.
