Two regional airlines will soon begin service between the Atlanta metro area and Athens.
Wings Air will begin flights between Athens and Atlanta next Monday. Georgia Skies plans to begin the same service soon.
The one way fare on Wings Air is $49.
The flight will leave Athens-Ben Epps Airport at 7 a.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. The return flight will leave Atlanta at 6:30 p.m. on the same days.
