A Republican member of Georgia's election board predicts a massive turnout in the state for the November general election, especially in precincts friendly to Democrat Barack Obama. Randy Evans says that in 20 to 25 precincts turnout could exceed 90 percent of registered voters. Most of those precincts are in parts of metro Atlanta that will likely support Obama. Evans said overall turnout in the state could be about 85 percent of registered voters, up from 77 percent in 2004.
