Residents in sections of Savannah are in cleanup-mode this morning, following a powerful and destructive thunderstorm that ripped through parts of the city yesterday afternoon. Downed trees and electrical lines, along with some damaged homes were part of the mix. Georgia Power officials estimate around 31-thousand customers lost power during the storm.
