More than three years after a deadly shooting rampage in an Atlanta courtroom, opening arguments in the trial of Brian Nichols have been set for Sept. 22, Superior Court Judge James Bodiford also said Friday he expects the selection of 90 jurors for the pool to be completed before Thursday, Aug. 28. Nichols, who has pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity, could face the death penalty for the March 2005 shooting spree that began in a downtown Atlanta courthouse. He is charged with killing a judge, a court reporter, a deputy and a federal agent.
