Georgia Power crews are on the way to help affected areas of the Gulf Coast from the punch of Hurricane ‘Gustav’. A company spokesperson says crews are on the road to Tallahassee and Meridian-Mississippi to mobilize their efforts and be ready to respond. 740 Georgia Power workers will be based out of Meridian, with another 75 to base out of the Tallahassee location.
