The latest state unemployment numbers are in and they aren't good. The Department of Labor says more Georgians are out of work today than in the past 15 years. The state's seasonally adjusted unemployment rate rose to 6.3 percent in August. That's up nearly 2 percent from this time last year. Nationally, unemployment is at 6.1 percent.
