The defense has rested in the trial of Brian Nichols, who is accused of killing a judge and three other people in a shooting rampage that began in a downtown Atlanta courthouse in March 2005. The state plans to spend three days rebutting a psychologist's claim that Nichols suffers from a delusional disorder. Nichols did not take the witness stand in his defense. The jury is expected to begin deliberations next week. The trial has gone for six weeks.
