Police say inmates at Fulton County Jail beat a witness in the trial of accused Fulton County Courthouse shooter Brian Nichols on Tuesday, after the man testified for the prosecution. A spokesperson for the Fulton County’s Sheriff's Office says Willie Tiller, a former cellmate of Nichols, suffered non-life threatening injuries. Tiller told a jury Nichols was angry at the judge in his 2005 rape case. Tiller is serving a 10-year sentence for armed robbery. The Sheriff’s Office would not comment further, citing a gag order.
