Army wife faces death for murder attempt

An Army wife accused of trying to kill her husband by setting fire to their family house could face the death penalty. A federal judge in Gainesville has denied bond to 35-year-old Billi Jo Smallwood who two small children died in the 2007 fire. A prosecutor said Smallwood intended to kill her husband at Fort Campbell, Ky., because he had a $400,000 life insurance policy.
