Most of Georgia is finally out of a historic drought. The U.S. Drought Monitor Service says it's thanks to a wet December. The government says most of the South is out of drought except for two regions – northeast Georgia and the western tips of the Carolinas. Nearly 80 percent of the region was in a drought this time last year.
