Police are investigating the murder of the Augusta Symphony's principal cellist.
David Reader was found dead early Sunday morning.
Reader started with the symphony during the 2007-2008 season.
"David was an outstanding young man, a superb musician, and a sensitive and intelligent human being," said Sandra Self, the symphony's executive director. "His untimely death is a tremendous loss for the symphony."
