A girl’s basketball star from Suwanee has been honored as one of the national high school athletes of the year. Maya Moore led Collins Hill High in Gwinnett County to an undefeated record and championship in Class 5A this past season. She is set to attend Connecticut in the fall. Moore received the trophy and honor in a ceremony in Los Angeles yesterday.
