Tuskegee Airman dead at 82

A former Tuskegee Airman and Georgia native has died. Augusta native Henry Cabot Bohler was 82 when he died Friday. He learned to fly the P-51 Mustang at Tuskegee Army Air Field in Alabama with the elite unit of black airmen. He never actually fought in World War II, however, because by the time he earned his wings in 1944, the military didn’t need any more pilots.
