Bibb County employees getting holiday bonuses

Holiday bonuses are rare in 2008. But, if you're an employee of Bibb County, you can look forward to an extra 500-dollars in your paycheck this month. County Commissioners voted to spend close to 400-thousand dollars to help out employees. Just one commissioner voted against the bonuses saying, "the move appeared dishonest" after commissioners asked departments to cut their budgets earlier this year.
