There are three candidates running in the special election for west Georgia’s House District 127. Today Secretary of State Karen Handel certified Republicans Billy Maddox and Jim Fletcher, and Democrat Bonnie Byrd Gardner. They are vying to replace Mack Crawford, who stepped down earlier this year to take over the Georgia Public Defender Standards Council. The special election will be held December 4th in Pike, Lamar and Upson counties.
