A northeast Georgia deputy is out of job accused of stealing money from a drunken-driving suspect. Jackson County sheriff's deputy Stanley Scoggins also faces charges. Investigators say Scoggins stole $160 from a drunken driving suspect, then lied about it. Scoggins also failed a polygraph test. Jackson County says Scoggins could face more charges because he’s accused of stealing money from another suspect.
