Georgia sports for Thursday, October 11th

From pro hockey, the Atlanta Thrashers have tripped out of the gate in their new season. They've lost their first 3 games, including last night's defeat on home ice to the Ottawa Senators, 3-1. The game was tied 1-1 through 2 periods, but the Senators broke through with 2 goals in the 3rd. The Thrashers' only score came courtesy Ilya Kovulchuk--his 1st goal of the season.
