Georgia sports for Monday, May 12th

Atlanta Braves--

The Braves will play a doubleheader today to make up for their rained out game in Pittsburgh Sunday afternoon. The Braves are looking to salvage something good from their series against the Pirates, following losses on Friday and Saturday. Jair Jurrjens gets the pitching start in today's Game-1, followed by Tim Hudson getting the call for Game-2.

College baseball--

From the weekend action, the Georgia Bulldogs won 2-of-3 games in their series against Vanderbilt--Sunday's final of 12-10 for Georgia. The Bulldogs for the season hold the 33-17-1 record. Georgia Tech's club suffered a 16-6 loss to Clemson, but the Yellow Jackets still won 2-of-3 in the series.
