The nation's largest organization for the blind is pushing Congress to fund replacing cassette machines with digital players at the nation's library for the blind. The National Federation of the Blind is holding its annual convention this week in Atlanta. It has passed a resolution asking congressional budget writers to pony up more than 19-million dollars a year for the next three years. The money would go toward updating technology at the National Library Service for the Blind and Physically Handicapped.
