Drought-stricken Lake Lanier could see its boat ramps back in the water. The Hall County Taxpayers Association has presented a plan to extend two main boat ramps. Supporters say extending the Bolding Mill and Dunlap Landing ramps will allow more boats onto Lake Lanier and reopen land for camping, bringing more money into Hall County. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers closed the ramps when the drought made water levels too low for their use.
