50 people in 16 states, including Georgia, have become sickened from cantaloupe linked to a salmonella outbreak. Federal officials are telling consumers to check with their grocer to see if cantaloupe purchased is from Honduras. If so, consumers should throw away the product. Of the 50 people sickened from the cantaloupe, 14 landed in the hospital. There have been no deaths reported.
