Governor Sonny Perdue on Wednesday announced Georgia’s high school drop-out rate is down for a second straight year. More than 2,200 fewer students, or around a 10-percent decrease in kids, left school early. Perdue says some of the credit should be given to the state’s graduation coaches--an idea started in 2006.
