Despite outcry from civil rights advocates, a West Georgia couple will re-hang their Halloween dummies with nooses around their necks. The dummies were torn down Saturday morning in LaGrange after the Association for the Advancement of Colored People protested the display. A county chapter of the NAACP called the display “culturally insensitive.” The family says the dummies are of a monster, an alien, and a white man and that the display has no racial overtones.
