A Georgia company may not win a contract to oversee public works jobs at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, NY. New York Congressman Maurice Hinchey is trying to amend a federal Defense Appropriations bill that allows the military to privatize the jobs. The Ginn Group of Peachtree City had been chosen to take over carpentry, plumbing, grounds maintenance and other operations.
