90 jobs cut from Athens mill

90 workers are set to lose their jobs at an Athens mill. Louisiana-Pacific Corp. is closing the facility indefinitely. The plant makes roof sheathing products used mainly in residential construction. The Nashville-based Louisiana-Pacific blames what company officials call one of the weakest housing markets in decades. Affected workers will be offered a severance package.
